Sixth Term

Congratulations – you have made it to the final term of your graduate program! In your sixth term, you will be focused on finishing your remaining program requirements and applying to jobs. You should use this term to reinforce your connections with the faculty, staff, and peers who have made significant contributions to your development as a counseling professional. For instance, you may want to take some time to thank your professors and ask specific individuals for letters of recommendation.

As part of the process of finishing your program, you will be submitting a degree sign-off request. With the completion of all Clinical Mental Health Counseling program requirements, you are eligible to pursue licensure with the Board of Behavioral Science (BBS). To learn more about degree sign-off and licensing, please visit the Degree Sign-Off page.
