Augmented Reality (AR) superimposes an extra dimension of data onto the physical world. AR encounters differ in their form, but they all rely on an intermediary tool to overlay virtual content on the real-life surroundings. Typically, a mobile device or tablet equipped with a rear camera serves as a portal into an AR-amplified realm. AR applications can encompass adding furniture to a room, capturing digital creatures in a gaming environment, gauging dimensions by directing the camera at an object's edges, and similar activities.
