You have successfully completed the first year of your graduate program! Your fourth term of graduate school will consist of exploring the current research and participating in professional development opportunities that will help you continue to grow. During this term, you will continue to broaden your understanding of student affairs by examining additional functional areas and aspects of higher education.
If you decided to begin fieldwork during this term, you might be going through an adjustment period as you get acclimated to your fieldwork site. However, if you did not start fieldwork, please ensure you complete the necessary steps to begin fieldwork in your fifth term.
Remember your advisor is available to answer any questions you may have or provide you with suggestions for professional development opportunities outside of the classroom.
