URSAA provides a way for University staff and administrative personnel to participate actively in all areas of the campus community at large. URSAA supports the University’s mission and objectives in the following ways:
Advise and consult with the University’s management team with respect to policy decisions that affect staff and administrative personnel.
- Provide staff and administrative input to the governance system through representation on University-wide committees.
- Support the sustainability of the University by participating in fiscal deliberations.
- Improve the effectiveness of the University’s operation by providing professional growth and development opportunities
- Promote a sense of community and ownership within the University community via regular communication and by sponsoring a variety of social events and service opportunities.
The mission of the Staff and Administrators Assembly is to promote, strengthen and facilitate a sense of community and mutual respect at the University of Redlands. It provides a forum where the interests, concerns, needs and ideas of the University community can be shared. Its aim is to provide effective channels of communication, offer input about matters of University policy, encourage and promote professional development, sponsor a variety of social events, and partner with the local community for service opportunities.
