The University of Redlands was named a top regional university in the West, rising from No. 16 to No. 5 by U.S. News & World Report in its 2021 Best College Rankings. In addition to this significant climb from the 2020 rankings, Redlands was also highlighted as a best college for veterans at No. 3. These and other positive rankings, listed below, are welcome news to Redlands — a private liberal arts and professional school with campuses located throughout California.
“This recognition is a nod to the hard work, commitment, and time invested by students, faculty, and staff whose collective focus is fixed on creating the best educational experience possible,” said Provost Kathy Ogren.
The 36th edition of U.S. News’ Best Colleges evaluates more than 1,400 colleges and universities on 17 indicators of academic quality. The data used in the 2021 Best Colleges rankings pertain to student and faculty cohorts that predate the pandemic.
