Go on a multifaceted journey through the ever-changing African American experience, performed my Emmy-winning actor Ron Jones in a one-man play, “The Movement.” Free and open to the public, the performance begins at 7 p.m. Nov. 17, 2016, in Orton Center on the University of Redlands campus. 

To the soundtrack of memorable music from the last two generations, Jones will play multiple characters through which the story of struggle and triumph will be revealed—a story of the fastest cultural expansion of any group in American history and the effect it has had on today’s cultural self-perceptions.
