Named for Gene Pokorny, principal tuba of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and University of Redlands alumnus, the week-long seminar brings together some of the world’s finest orchestral musicians and students for a week of master classes, seminars and performances engaging a wide range of musical, stylistic, technical and professional issues in-depth. Students audition to be performers in the master classes or choose to audit the seminar (registration required).

Six solo recitals and two ensemble concerts will be presented during the Seminar. The recital performances are free and open to the public. Seating is limited and priority given to the seminar attendees.
