Seventh Term

During the Seventh term of your program, you will be preparing to travel abroad to arrive at the Redlands campus for the summer for your final term.

Some of the critical documents that you will focus on this term are:

  • I-20
  • Unofficial Transcripts

As you prepare to travel to the University of Redlands for the Summer, here are the documents you will need.

I-20

Documents Needed: 

  • Certificate of Finance 
  • Unexpired passport scanned valid for at least 6 months from return travel date  
  • Fill Etrieve form that will be processed by the OISS office when all documents are in at least 120 days before arrival 
  • Check for accuracy once received

 

Preparing to Request an I-20 form from the Office of International Student Scholars Timeline

October: Check if passport is expired, will expire and has to be renewed. 

November: Ask for Certificate of finance or signed bank statement of sufficient funds for travel. 

December 31st: Recommended deadline to request an I-20. 

Early January : OISS will begin to issue I-20. 

*requests for I-20 can be received after this date, but cannot be issued more than 120 days prior to arrival. 

If you are bringing someone with you during your study abroad experience, you will need to provide additional documentation.
