Description: Students programmed the SPARK-E animatronic to present information in Japanese. These presentations where 10-15 minutes long, and had to be about Japanese cultural. Learn more about the project in our Faculty Success Stories.

Description: Students, Faculty, and Staff were welcomed into the makerspace for multiple activities. They painted 3D printed skulls, a student designed tote bag, and laser cut flags. The participants also designed and cut their own papel picados using the laser cutter.

Description: Students participated in two VR experiences. In the first students used the Merge headsets to watch a New York Times produced VR story on the Hajj. The students then explored Mecca through Google Earth VR, flying over the space and exploring the various street views available.

Description: Students produced a draft sculpture that was then scanned using the 3D scanner. Once digitized the students used TinkerCad or medium to edit the sculpture.
