Due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus and the safety of participants and attendees at the event, the 25th Annual Charlotte Huck Children's Literature Festival has been postponed to March 11 & 12, 2022.

Each year, the festival brings together educators librarians, parents, students, authors, illustrators, editors and those interested in children’s literature for a unique combination of full conference and small group sessions. This year, our faculty is once again chosen from the “best of the best.” As one attendee said, “I thought you would never top this year’s conference—then I saw your 2019 line-up. I’m ready to sign up now!”

Award winning 2022 Festival faculty include Ralph Fletcher, Deborah Hopkinson, Rafael Lopez, Don Tate, and much, much more.

Why do people come—and keep coming back? In the words of past participants, it is: “A small, intimate conference where you can spend time with the authors and illustrators.” “A unique opportunity to spend time with others who share a passion about children’s books.” “Practical ideas for my classroom” and library.

Join us in 2022. Learn and refuel in a collegial atmosphere surrounded by people who love children’s books.

Register for the 25th annual Festival!
