University of Redlands to host Purposeful Leadership Forum

The University of Redlands will host its inaugural Purposeful Leadership Forum at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, at the new Marin campus.

Dr. Tom Horan, dean of the University’s School of Business, will lead a discussion on the “Arc of Purposeful Leadership” which is the cornerstone framework for the school’s Purposeful Leadership Initiative (PLI). Participants will be encouraged to assess their own Arc of Purposeful Leadership and share their thoughts on each dimension — self, team, organization, and society.

Additional discussion topics will include:

  • “Developing Your Own Purposeful Leadership,” led by Laura and Janice Gates, leadership coaches at Gates Group LLC
  • “Key Elements of a Purposeful Leadership Strategy,” led by Christina Walker, visiting professor at University of Redlands
  • “Building a Purposeful Leadership Network,” led by Bill Mince, chief operating officer at iMedrix

The event will begin at 10 a.m. on campus, Rm. 101 in Scott Hall, 105 Seminary Road, San Anselmo. Attendance is free and will include lunch. RSVP is required. Visit Redlands.edu/sb/plf or call 415-451-2832 to register.
