The University of Redlands continues to celebrate community, creativity, and cultures at three annual events this week on the main campus. All are free and open to the public.

“Labyrinth” senior art exhibition, now through April 25

A showcase of work from senior art studio majors in the University Art Gallery on the Redlands main campus, now through April 25, from 1-5 p.m. Tuesday–Friday and from 2–5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The exhibit includes the final projects, or “capstones” of the students’ study in photography, graphic design, multimedia, illustration, painting, drawing, and typography.

Living on Common Ground, Saturday, April 6

The annual multicultural festival now in its 29^th year will again celebrate cultures from around the globe through food, art, and performances from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. Saturday, April 6 at Hunsaker Plaza and on the Freshman Quad of the main campus. Performers scheduled for the festival include the Zydeco Mudbugs, Folklorica, Mexica Dancers, Xplore TKD, and others.

Addie’s Adoption Event, Saturday, April 6

U of R mascot Addie is celebrating her second birthday and to celebrate she wants to find homes for those pets who need them. From 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, join Addie on the Quad and meet Redlands Police Dept. K9s and see a demonstration of how they work with officers, meet therapy dogs from Enlightened Dog Training, and possibly adopt a new best friend from one of five rescue organizations participating in the event.
