Students in the Johnston Center for Integrative Studies who studied for a semester abroad invite the community to a presentation that will offer a group perspective of their experience from 4 to 7 p.m. May 19 in The Gallery Building (formerly Peppers Gallery). This event is free and open to the public.
Themes of globalization, tourism and development were studied while students traveled through Mexico, Guatemala and Cuba. Though students have various scopes of study, they each took what was presented and did their best to apply it to their individual emphasis or major.
During the presentations, students will present on topics reflecting their areas of study and the knowledge gained on the trip. Presentations include a film screening, art installations and projects, spoken word, academic presentations and demonstrations.
