Reducing Risk

Reduce the risk of intimate partner violence, stalking, sexual harassment and sexual violence

Sexual violence is a serious problem that can have lasting, harmful effects on individuals involved and their family, friends, and communities. The goal of sexual violence prevention is simple—to stop it from happening in the first place. The University is committed to this goal.  The University fully recognizes that only those who commit sexual misconduct are responsible for their actions. Victim-blaming is never appropriate.

The following sections provide information on preventing sexual violence and how everyone has a role.
