Jennifer joined the University of Redlands in 2010 and fulfilled key roles on the web team and media relations team. As the assistant director of strategic communications, Jennifer is a key storyteller who writes and curates the stories of U of R students, alumni, faculty, and staff. She is the lead on the institution's magazine, Och Tamale, and on the Bulldog Blog

Before joining the University, Jennifer enjoyed a career in journalism spanning more than two decades. During that time, she worked as a reporter, photographer, paginator, editor, and managing editor throughout the Inland Empire. She has also worked as a freelance communications consultant and graphic designer.

Throughout her career, Jennifer has been committed to community service. She spent more than a decade in leadership with the Girl Scouts of America and the Parent-Teacher Association in the Rim of the World School District. She has served on the boards of the Redlands Chamber of Commerce, YMCA of the East Valley, Community Foundation, Rotary Club, Redlands Fire Department, Citrograph Foundation, and the University of Redlands Town & Gown. 

Jennifer earned an associate's degree at Crafton Hills College in Yucaipa, a bachelor's degree in management at the University of Redlands, and a master's degree in organizational leadership from the School of Business & Society at U of R.
