Whether you think of editing as a process of "taking away," as when a sculptor chips away at a block of marble, or as a process of building up, brick by brick, brushstroke by brushstroke, or shot by shot, it helps to have a dedicated, well-equipped workspace in which to undertake construction of your artifact.
Tucked inside the Jones Computer Lab is Library 124 (LIB*124), a designated "Collaborative Learning Space" that is equipped with four 27" Apple iMacs configured as media editing stations. Each edit station has two monitors and is loaded with video, graphics, and sound editing applications from Adobe Creative Cloud.
The Media Production Center offers workshops in Adobe Premiere Pro CC. See "Learn to Make Videos" for more information.
If you have questions about video editing, or want a consultation on your project-in-progress, please contact Nicholas Sousa.
